Message from the Dean
We are always eager to extend a warm welcome to any families interested in learning more about St. Dominic School. The value of a St. Dominic education is, and will always be, found in our commitment to support the individual growth of young men within a caring community. Our boys are provided learning opportunities across a wide spectrum - academically, physically, morally, and spiritually. Brotherhood begins here...where boys find support and encouragement from their fellow SDS classmates, and a lifelong bond of brotherhood that can only be found at St. Dominic School.
Our school culture centers on a version of manhood that is thoughtful, resilient, and that seeks to serve others. Beyond academic aptitude, SDS students participate in extracurricular and leadership activities that speak to their holistic growth and readiness to make positive contributions to their school and world communities.
The successes of our graduates stand as good examples for our current students. Our boys continue to perform above average on high school placement tests and are consistently recognized as leaders, ranking among the top in their class. The quality of preparation our students receive at SDS and how they carry it forward into their high school years and beyond is a testament to the good work being done at St. Dominic School.
The growth of our boys and success of our school would not be possible without the efforts of the many caring educators dedicated to supporting our students and families. Educators balance expertise in their fields of study with a vocational calling to their work with students, and our boys are bettered by the high standards they set, guidance and counsel they offer, and the caring support they provide along the way.
